Bar-Hanina

Bar-Hanina
(fl. 4th cent)
   Palestinian scholar. He lived in Bethlehem and was a teacher of Jerome. He introduced the Church Fathers to rabbinic exegesis and influenced the translation of the Hebrew Scriptures into Latin.
